Fall League
The Pride of the Diamond high school baseball fall league is entering its fourth season in 2010. The league began in 2007 with eight teams, grew to fourteen in 2008 and sixteen in 2009. The league provides area teams with a structure that enables development through competition. The fall season allows coaches and players an opportunity to further prepare for their upcoming spring season. Pride of the Diamond will operate all of the administrative duties necessary to run a successful league. We want to make your experience as simple and as enjoyable as we can.
The Pride of the Diamond Fall League fee includes the costs of: Scheduling, Insurance, Baseballs, Umpires, Fields, Awards, All-Star Game, College Showcase and a Recruiting Seminar. 2009 Fall League Champions
Brodheadsville was able to win three games on the final weekend to win the Third Annual Pride of the Diamond Fall League. It was a difficult journey to the championship for the Brodheadsville team as they had to first win a second round game on Saturday morning against the Emmaus Athletics. After beating Emmaus, Brodheadsville had to play a semifinal game versus the Crusaders Saturday afternoon. By sweeping their two games, Brodheadsville earned a championship match-up on Sunday with Perk Baseball who defeated Quakertown in the other semifinal match-up on Saturday afternoon.
Brodheadsville completed a tough stretch of three games in two days to take home the championship. A feat well deserving of being crowned as the 2009 Champions. Congratulations Brodheadsville coaches, players and parents.
